What are we collecting?
The Play Observatory is gathering information about children’s playful activities in 2020 and 2021. It can be anything you have experienced or observed. We’re interested in what children and young people have been doing or making, playing or saying for fun or to pass the time, like
- games, activities, stories, funny words, jokes, songs, raps,dances, challenges, memes, pictures, films, animations or objects
- onscreen and offscreen, indoors and outdoors
- alone or with friends or family.
If you have pictures, film clips or sound recordings that you could share, you can contribute those as well. Please see the guidelines below on what we can accept.
